Marshmallow Toast

Since my recent Friday confessions post  on my personal blog i have had a few comments regarding... my Marshmallow Toast... so here is what you do!!

There are two ways but i am a weirdo (dont make fun) and do not like cheese unless it is 100% melted like in pizza/cheese dip/mac-n-cheese/chili.. that sort of stuff!!

The first REAL way is..

Butter bread and put a slice of American Cheese on it.... then put small white marshmallows on it and put in toaster oven until marshmallows start to brown/ or burn however you love to eat marshmallows.... then EAT IT!! It's kinda of like a grilled cheese with not other side to the toast with a little sweetness.. But again dont really love grilled cheese.. cause i weird...

and now for the BEST WAY... MY Way!

Butter your bread same as before but leave off the cheese and put your marshmallows on it and put in toaster oven ubntil marshmallows are brown/burnt enough for you and EAT IT... you WILL fall in love.. or at least i hope you love it!!

Bridget and Kat here is the answer to your question!! If either of you try it please let me know what you think!!!

I hope anyone else reading this that is curious will so try it too!! It is super good and i had some marshmallows and i ate it ALL THE TIME when i was a little girl so of course i had to make me some more.. i havent had it since i was about 16 or so..

if you have had this or like to eat this i would love to know.. there are others out there!!!

Hope you all try it.. and of course LOVE it!!

Easy Homemade Biscuits.

This is really a recipe from the hubby... I am just sharing it!!
He recently made them for me so....i thought i would share. I did not take a pic though!! i need to start taking a pic of every meal... I never know when i might wanna share my recipe!!

Easy Quick Homemade Biscuits

3 cups Self rising flour
1 tablespoon of Sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup of shortening
1 cup of milk

1. Preheat oven to 450. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, salt. Use a pastry blender cut in butter (did not do this we just put it in because we do not have a pastry blender!) until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add milk all at once. Using a fork, stir just until mixture is moistened.

2. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface  Knead dough by folding it . (the hubs did all his knead in the bowl.. MEN)
Roll dough until about 3/4 inch think.  Cut dough with biscuit cutter, or whatever you want to use. I used a round cookie cutter. ( you can also drop biscuits using a spoon onto the cooking sheet.)

3. Place biscuits on cooking sheet Bake for 10 to 14 minutes and butter them up for a awesome taste!!

(I recommend more Sugar, not sure how much hubs put in but we decided it need more after eating them)
