Oven Baked Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

You can use Boneless or Bone in Pork Chops Your choice, I just found these on sale!!
I always use a meat beater on my meats i cook in the oven so the spices can get in them. So that was my first step.

I also like to use foil to cook on a pan somethimes, such an easy clean up (although not in this case cause i have generiv foil that apparently manages to stick to the pan) Grease foil just a tad so the Pork Chops wont stick.

Sprinkle Lemon Pepper, Salt, Pepper, any Cajun Spice on each side of the pork chop and rub in with hand.

Cook at 400 Degrees for about 45 minutes, then broil for 5-10 minutes. Then they are ready!!

Before:

(i think the spices just look soooo GOOD)

Homemade Mashed Potatoes!

I always use 5 large baked potatoes for just me and my husband. (so i can have a little extra for lunch the next)

Peel Potatoes & cut into chucks
Put water in a large pot--Bring to boil
Put peeed potatoes in boiling water.
Watch potatoes and check them to see when they are tender.

Drain water off of potatoes, Pour back into pot or bowl.
Use Potato masher to mash up potatoes.
Pour Milk and spoons of butter to your taste. (i usually put 2 tablespoons of butter and i just pour milk until they look good)  Stir until they are as fluffy as you want them!! Serve Hot!!

Salt & Pepper to taste

My Favorite Green Beans

1 Can on Green Beans
1 chicken bullion cube
1/2 tsp of vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook on medium heat until green beans are done..

They taste awesome!! The bullion cube gives it the perfect flavor!!

Do any of you use bullion cubes in your Green Beans?

Easy Homemade Biscuits.

This is really a recipe from the hubby... I am just sharing it!!
He recently made them for me so....i thought i would share. I did not take a pic though!! i need to start taking a pic of every meal... I never know when i might wanna share my recipe!!

Easy Quick Homemade Biscuits

3 cups Self rising flour
1 tablespoon of Sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup of shortening
1 cup of milk

1. Preheat oven to 450. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, salt. Use a pastry blender cut in butter (did not do this we just put it in because we do not have a pastry blender!) until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add milk all at once. Using a fork, stir just until mixture is moistened.

2. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface  Knead dough by folding it . (the hubs did all his knead in the bowl.. MEN)
Roll dough until about 3/4 inch think.  Cut dough with biscuit cutter, or whatever you want to use. I used a round cookie cutter. ( you can also drop biscuits using a spoon onto the cooking sheet.)

3. Place biscuits on cooking sheet Bake for 10 to 14 minutes and butter them up for a awesome taste!!

(I recommend more Sugar, not sure how much hubs put in but we decided it need more after eating them)
